Rising Tides Forum
The Rising Tides Forum brings together local community officials and members of the public to discuss environmental issues affecting our local communities. The forum focuses on rising tide levels, the increasing frequency of severe weather events and the actions being taken to help lessen the effects of these storms and high tides. Experts and members of the public are able to engage each other through the forum to exchange valuable information about the environmental events afflicting the Bayshore Region of Southern New Jersey.
This year the Rising Tides Forum coincides with a special program brought to the Bayshore Region by the National Nonstructural Floodproofing Committe, which is made of of several members from the US Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, and the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management.
