Get to know Rotary!
If your city or town has a Rotary Club, you’ve got a real resource! Rotarians are very interested in supporting good things in their community — they even have a mandate to have an annual water project. Though many Rotary Clubs support international water projects like drilling wells in Africa, they also can support special water education programs like sending your school on a field trip on the MEERWALD. They sometimes have funds available or may be willing to help fundraise for your class trip!
Tanya K. Orme Scholarship Fund
If you are still in need of funds once exhausting the above options please call Bayshore Center at Bivalve (856-785-2060) and inquire about the Tanya Orme Scholarship Fund. This fund can provide partial support for those teachers who’ve made an effort to fund raise on their own but still need the last bit.
