Play on the Bayshore

bcb-play-exhibit

The new exhibit, ” Play on the Bay”,  opened in May 2016. It illustrates how along New Jersey’s Delaware Bayshore, work and play are closely intertwined with each other, the environment and the economy, creating a unique culture and inspiration for artists. A mutually beneficial relationship developed between those who worked and played on the bay’s waters during the late 1800s and early 1900s and persists to this day. Today, as in the past, visitors who come to fish, hunt, boat, dine, and sight-see share the Delaware Bay with those who make their living from the water.
