Join us for an enriching series of talks on the rich maritime, cultural, and environmental history of the Bayshore. Each session features engaging discussions led by Dr. Michael Chiarappa, offering insights into the past and present of this unique region.
Dr. Michael J. Chiarappa received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and has taught at Western Michigan University, Quinnipiac University, and Washington College. An expert in American environmental and maritime history, he has worked extensively with museums and communities on marine environmental history projects. He is co-author of Fish for All and co-editor of Nature’s Entrepot and Buildings and Landscapes: The Journal of the Vernacular Architecture Forum.
