The Bayshore Center at Bivalve is all about education! We want your school, organization, group, or family to visit us for education, edu-tainment, and experience for all ages. We pride ourselves in offering hands-on programs that get students unplugged and reconnected to the world around us - including culture, food, environment, history and community.
We have something for every age - formal and informal - on campus programs and shipboard programs.
Bring your class to the Bayshore Center at Bivalve. Our Delaware Bay Museum & Folklife Center, Shipping Sheds, The Tall Ship of New Jersey, the AJ Meerwald, Wetlands Walk, crafts, and more will engage kids in their history, culture and environment. Learn more about our Education Sails.
Our Bivalve Discovery Tours offer 1-hour to full day opportunities for hands-on and experiential learning.

Summer Day Camps
The Bayshore Center at Bivalve provides an ideal setting to explore the diverse ecosystems of the southern New Jersey bayshore from our location on the Maurice River. Our campers have the opportunity to interact with the world around them through salt marsh exploration, hands-on activities, technological innovations and crafts at our green facility. The Bayshore Center at Bivalve is a New Jersey state-certified day camp.
The program offers a safe, fun and educational environment which will immerse your child in the environment around them. Sign your children up for a great camp experience this summer at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve! For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org
Kids ABOUT the Bay
A free 2-day event for Cumberland County 5th Graders hosted every fall (since 2004) by the Bayshore Center at Bivalve. The event is an opportunity for youth to connect to the Bayshore through interaction, observation and hands-on activities. Students participate in a variety of learning stations each designed to engage them in things related to the history, culture and/or environment of the Bayshore region.
If you are a Cumberland County 5th grade teacher and would like to find out how your students can participate in the next Kids ABOUT The Bay, call us at 856-785-2060.
